Today I went to Savor in Noe Valley. I have been going there for atleast 10 years (or so it seems). Today marks the very last time I will ever go there.
To start we were going to be seated by the kitchen, but we asked to sit all the way in the back. We proceed to sit down then we are promptly asked to move one table over since the employees like to sit there for their breaks. We are fine with that though I feel that it kinda odd to have to move so the servers get what they want. After that the service was inattentive, I had to get up to ask for butter for my toast. I waited for cream and a coffee refill for 20 minutes. the server never came over to ask if we ok or needed anything.
the food was bland though it came out quickly. This was a major disapointment since i have always been satisfied with service. something must have changed since the last time I visited, over a year ago.
This was not what made me decide to go elsewhere. When we were finishing up some servers came over and sat down at the table we had moved from to eat. One of the servers rams the chair into mine without saying pardon or excuse me. So we pay our bill and get ready to go. We move the chair back to leave and it moves their chair a bit. what we get in return is four glares.
WTF? Since when did the place go to shit? Even if this was just one bad day, I do not wish to return to find out.
