Probably not the same place.

Re: Destino
05/09Glad to hear you had a great time @ Destino w/ your Mom, Aleman.
We went out during the dineabouttown, and I was very disappointed. I had the Lomo Saltado, which was pretty dry. The service was pretty bad and it was very loud in there. -

Re: Destino
05/09I recommend you try it again as every time I have gone they have been superb.

Re: Destino
05/09I'm always wary of a "good deal" on food and dineabouttown can be good and be bad. Sometimes the restaurants can be halfassed, because of a "special deal" so they don't bother to really serve up the food as best as they can. Try it again Pengrin. It might taste better the next time around. -

Re: Destino
05/09Ok. I will.
BTW, what did you think of the noise level in there? -
-
Re: Destino
05/09It was low key when I went so it was enjoyably quiet. It was an overall lovely experience.

Re: Destino
03/13We went about 1 year ago and simply loved it, we got several small dishes and was able to sample a lot. I would say destino is definately a destination to hit. -

Re: Destino
03/20What I love about the place is that they stick to their theme. They have wines from Central and South America. The food and the music also reflects the theme. Some restaurants tend to serve a type ofethnic cuisine but then serve wines, beers and even paly music which is not indicitve of the region the foods hail from. I dislike that imensely and appreciate a restaurant that can teleprot you to another place or make you feel you are not in Sf or a little while.
